Googs Lake Campground - SA

Goog completed the track to these lakes in 1974. The main lake is approximately 15kms in length and more than a kilometre wide. These salt water lakes have a high evaporation rate especially during the hotter months. There are a few nice camping areas around Goog's Lake but bookings are required. Please make sure you have paid per night of stay before travelling. Fees are per vehicle per night. Access is by 4WD only and sites are suitable only for tents and offroad camper trailers. There are picnic tables, and a toilet located near the west entrance of the lake near Callitris Campground. Max 50 vehicles. You can book online (use link provided to Parks SA) or visit the Ceduna Information Centre.
Sites are named: Callitris, Casuarina, Triodia, and Lakeside 1, Lakeside 2, Lakeside 3, and Lakeside 4.
