Camp Area located in Yuraygir National Park. Bookings are required. Book online or call the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757. This can be a popular place so it’s a good idea to book early, especially in summer. Firewood is available at this campground on a user-pays basis. No pets or smoking. Tent, Camper trailer site, Caravan site, Camping beside your vehicle.
Lake Arragan and Red Cliff campgrounds sit side-by-side on the park’s northern coastline. Between them, there are 90 grassy campsites – many with shade and all just a short walk from the beach.
Choose a campsite at Lake Arragan, a small coastal lagoon system surrounded by paperbarks. This is a great spot for canoeing, swimming, fishing and birdwatching, and if you’re feeling energetic, you can try the 10km coastal walk to Angourie.
Or head south to Red Cliff for panoramic coastal views. Here you can discover isolated beaches or just listen to the surf roll over the rocks while watching kangaroos and birds going about their business.
