Willis Campground - VIC

A number of scattered sites on sloping ground leading down to the river flats of the wide and shallow Snowy River. A 2 km long one-way track winds through the dry rain-shadow area, fostering wattle, cypress pine and White Box woodlands. Kangaroos hop about and feral deer may be seen. At only 240 m elevation this is a hot area in summer so cool off in the refreshing Snowy.
Another smaller Willis rest area is 2km north across the border in NSW.
