Smalleys Beach Camp Area - QLD

Located in Cape Hillsborough National Park. Has 11 large sites with 8 persons allowed. A sandy beach at high tide. Peaceful but watch those kookaburras.

You’ll feel right at home in this shady camping area that is right on the beach and just a stone’s throw from walking tracks. Launch your boat nearby and spend your days exploring the nearby coves, islands and reefs of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.

Set out on foot to nearby beaches, ridge-top lookouts and mangrove forests, and watch the sunset splash across the sky as Cape Hillsborough’s agile wallabies visit the broad beach.

At night, sit around the camp fire (remember to bring your own off-ground fire container) underneath a star-studded sky as the waves gently roll up the broad beach.
