Information

The rest area here has a turning bay off the highway with views across to the bridge. Parking space for about 5 or 6 rigs. It is close to the highway so traffic noise could be an issue.It has a wheel chair accessible toilet, rubbish bin and sheltered picnic tables. A plaque commemorates the passing of this spot by Ludwig Leichhardt and his party on their 1855 - 1845 expedition.
