Albert Tognolini Rest Area - WA

Rest Area off the highway near Karijini National Park. Renown for its scenic beauty with views over Munjina East Gorge from the lookout.
Bitumen road to top of lookout then a gravel road continues for a few kilometres further along. No facilities. Bring in your own firewood if required.

The Rest Area commemorates Albert Tognolini (AM BE, HonFIEAust, FCIT), former Commissioner of Main Roads who early in his career was responsible for major improvements of sections of the Great Northern Highway, Victoria Highway and Duncan Road.
