Description

This super tasty dessert sauce is ultra easy, can be made from canned ingredients and is guaranteed to impress. Totally delicious :)

Ingredients

  • 1 x 440g can strawberries
  • 1 x 440g can blueberries
  • 1 cup icing sugar

Method

  • Step 1Combine the contents of the cans of strawberries & blueberries
  • Step 2Using a potato masher (or stick mixer if you have power) blend the fruit 'till its liquified.
  • Step 3Add the icing sugar to the liquified fruit - adjust to taste, adding 1/3 cup at a time.
  • Step 4Push the liquified pulp through a sieve into a bowl - it's a slowish process, but well worth the effort.
  • Step 5Voila - the end result in the bowl is now an awesomely delicious sauce, which you can pour over meringue bases for a delectable dessert.
