Description

After rain desert areas burst into life, with these everlasting daisies leading the charge. Previously named Myriocephalus stuartii. Grows on sand. Annual to about 50cm, rapidly covering large areas after rain. Greyish leaves and stems, slightly hairy, sometimes sticky. Leaves elongated. Flower heads up to 5cm diameter held on upright stems, yellow centre comprised of small individual flowers surrounded by numerous white papery bracts.

Flowering start in May and ends in October.

Identification

The main flower colour is white. Flower heads with yellow centres surrounded by papery bracts.
