Description

Mallee with a sprawling, straggling habit. Leaves are large, blue-grey and sessile (without a leaf stalk). Large buds with a pointed bud cap (operculum). Flowers are the largest of all eucalypts, up to 7cm diameter. Gumnuts are large and flattened.

Flowering start in August and ends in June.

Identification

The main flower colour is red. Large flowers, large blue grey leaves, sprawling habit.
