We are planning to spend a couple of months next winter in the Kimberley.
We would like to fly home to Brisbane for a Nana/Poppyfix for a couple of weeks halfway through our trip.
Can anyone recommend somewhere we could leave our Bushtracker and F250 in Broome at that time. I am sure we will need to book somewhere asap. We haven't been to Broome before so are not familiar with the area.
Thanks in anticipation,
Maureen and David

Hi David & Maureen,

When we have stayed at the Broome Caravan Park we have always seen a few vans parked off to the side, owners ducked off somewhere, you could try a phone call to them.

Maureen and David,

We used Keshi storage when we left the rig in Broome for 3 weeks. Not to badly priced or organised. Nothing flash, but best we could find at the time.

Keshi Storage & Containers 11 Haynes St (off Hunter st) Ph: 9193 5343 Fax: 9193 5343 Mobile: 0403 002 187 Postal: PO Box 2896, Broome 6725

I would certainly get in as early as possible- They don't have an enormous yard...

Cheers

Matt

We actually left our car and van in at the "Kimberley Entrance" c/van park in Derby fo a few days while on a flight up North to the Horizontal Wate falls.
We hadstayed at the park for a few days before that trip so the owners didn't charge us, although I think it would only have been or an un-powered site had they done so.
Of course that was a coule of years ago and things do change as well as owners, but c/van parks are alway worth a try. It also depends on how busy they are sometimes !!!!!

Cheers Tony

Kilkoy Yowies
Guys try the Broome pistol club, head towards the fuel terminal and harbour the industrial area is on the right and the Broome pistol club is on the left between the road and the ocean, a caretaker lives in the converted 30 ft bus, theres miles of space and they only shoot thursday night, toleits and showers also and power. Small donation to the club and your set, they welcome anyone
regards
