If you look on the right hand side of the screen there is a link to one of our sponsor called CGEAR. For the past 2 years they have donated a mat as an auction or raffle prize.

After buying raffle tickets trying to win the CGEAR awning mat prize and missing out this year while at the Leisure Fest at Sandown Park (Vic) we purchased a new mat from them.

I would just like to comment on how pleased we are with it now that we are living in the caravan on site for a couple of months. It is far superior to the Camec matting that we thought was good, and very easy to sweep clean.

Members wishing to upgrade their matting or new members buying a BT I would highly recommend the CGEAR product. They are not the cheapest, but I believe that they are the best.

See the link on the right of screen for email and website details.

Barrie,

They had a stall at the Sandown Leisure Fest, next to Carac and we bought it off CGEAR but they went over to Carac and used the Carac Credit card machine to process the payment.

Hi All,

I should have said we bought ours from Kullkyne Campers and we got bonus $,s if there was anything else we wished to purchase.
Ours has been used on sand and dust at Birdsville, without any sign of anything coming up thru it, again we can't recommend them highly enough.

Cheers.

Check the CGEAR www site. They are a Sunshine Coast Company and may have somewhere there to buy mats. Australian Offroad Campers use these for their awning floor as a standard includion I believe.

Hi all, I was the one that organised this donation, we had read about the mat and when we were going to the Kimberleys we thought that this would be most suitable. The Batson boys also wanted one and I purchased 3 from a Camping store in Calendra. We were all thrilled with the result and so I thought that I would approach them and ask if they would like to donate one and they have and every year since. The sand does not come through and we use nothing else now, and I highly recommend them. I agree with Brian they are worth buying and outdo any other mat. If you atteneded the muster you will have been given a leaftlet on the product in your showbag. So members please support this product and if you are happy with your product drop Wayne the Manager an email expressing your approval and mention that you are a Bogger.
