Fern Flat Camp - VIC

Although the site tracks are bumpy and long grass surrounds the dispersed sites this is a very attractive bush camp beside the broad, rushing Mitta Mitta River.
You’ll find extended riverside flat and grassed area shaded by tall Snow Gums and white trunked Manna, Candlebark, and Mountain Gums and a few willows. Surrounded by step slopes and dry sclerophyll forest.
Follow any of the rough tracks leading 400m down to informal, secluded riverside sites.
You’ll probably have it all to yourself whilst the masses camp at the Hinnomunjie bridge.
