Information

A large pleasant free camp area with dispersed sites - this is a section of State forest within the Alpine National Park, managed by Parks Vic. Dogs and generators not allowed. No bookings required.Gentle sloping open woodlands extend down to grassed alpine river flats and wooded areas in a broad valley. Reasonable shade provided by Snow Gums over short alpine grass. Keep an eye on Parks Vic website for any alerts (bushfires, aerial shooting etc)Features a tin hut and disintegrating horse yards. 1 pit toilet.
