Information

The Class 5 summit trail is a tough 6 kilometre return trek (approximately 3 to 4
hours return), suitable only for experienced walkers with a high level of fitness.
This challenging trail begins at the parking area, walk 1 kilometre along the gravel
road until you reach the trailhead sign. Then there is a creek crossing followed by
a steep, loose, uneven surface incline. Towards the top there are exposed and
very steep rock sections that require rock scrambling. Exercise caution near the
exposed cliff edges. At the summit you will be rewarded with panoramic views
from the hinterland to the coast
