Golf Club has made available space for 50 or more self-contained RVs, suitable for camper-vans, caravans and big rigs, on the outskirts of Strahan.
Vehicles must have facilities for water storage, grey water storage, black water storage and rubbish. No facilities: no power, no water. Water is available at the IGA car park, about 1.2kms away. Plenty of space on mostly grassy sites, mixture of shaded and open sites. No bookings, no allocated spaces.
Gordon River Cruises are nearby at 24 Esplanade, Strahan. About 6km to Ocean Beach, Tasmania’s longest beach at 40km, on the wild Southern Ocean.
Next to the council football oval, a great space for kids games or running the doggo.

Cash only. $10/van/night in Dec-2023. Pay at the green shed - mostly self service, but a bar is open in the afternoon.
