Free camping area - frequented by dirt bike riders so if camping, choose a spot away from the trails. Absolutely stunning, shaded area nestled on flat but firm sandy base covered with pine needles and pine cones. There are 2 entrances easy to find. Most caravans camp near the entrance (where this marker is) but you can venture further in and find your own spot if looking for more solitude away from others. It is surprising that this site remains open to the public for camping so please ensure you abide by leave no trace principles and be fully self sufficient. The camping near the beach is much more open to wind so if weather is bad, this is a good option but its driving distance to the beach.
