Beulah is a farming community and the main crops grown are wheat, barley, lentils and canola. The town has a general store, a cafe, a depot pharmacy connected to the larger pharmacy in nearby Warracknabeal, a butcher, two service stations, a hardware store, an agricultural products dealer and a transaction centre which is post office and business centre. The Victoria Hotel in the main street offers meals and accommodation.
Beulah has a well kept and excellent sporting centre consisting of the football club, cricket club, swimming pool, netball and tennis clubs. There is a small area in the sports grounds where travellers can stop for a rest, lunch or overnight with power, electric bbqs and well looked after amenities.
Beulah has several murals depicting life in the area in the early days and around the local creek they have constructed a walking track with bollards set up along the track painted to represent the various sporting clubs of the town.
