Bright is a beautiful town in Victoria, just 4 hours drive from Melbourne. It’s a base for exploring the peaks of Mount Buffalo National Park and Alpine National Park as well as Mount Hotham, a popular ski resort.
The region is also known for wineries and fall foliage. Bright is a starting point for the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail - a hiking and cycling path and is a Mecca for MTB cyclists riding at Mystic MTB Park - featuring shuttles and trails for all levels.
Bright Museum, in the town’s former train station, documents rail and gold rush history.
