Information

Floodplain crossing usually bone dry. Flooded every 15 to 20 years, so at such times the Cooper Creek Ferry must be used. About 4 km of the track went under to a depth of 1.2m in 2010. Quite canoeable among the coolibahs. 2025 flood is bigger than 2010 and likely arrival mid June.
