Welshpool, South Gippsland is situated on the beautiful South Eastern coastline of Victoria, Australia. The fishing township of Port Welshpool has a perfect beach with calm waters for families to relax and enjoy, and fantastic facilities and boating ramp for fishermen to use.
Welshpool is one of the stopping points along the Great Southern Rail Trail. In total a 70km trail retracing the Australian mainland's southern-most rail line.
Welshpool also has a 9-hole golf course of 5388 metres, which is yet to concede an under par score. All visitors are invited to come along and take the challenge.
