Wander through scribbly gum woodland and a blanket of bright green midyim, a bushy shrub covered in white-speckled berries. Relish the sight of green shrubs contrasting with the clean white trunks of scribbly gumsListen for chattering honeyeaters and the loud flap of wings as bar-shouldered doves shy away from your intruding footsteps. Freshwater Lake is fringed with reeds and paperbarks—enjoy a swim from the small cleared area on the lake’s banks, and admire the reflections on the water’s surface on a clear day.
