Information
Conondale National Park, located in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast Hinterland, is a haven for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Known for its lush rainforests, crystal-clear streams, and rugged mountain ranges, the park offers a variety of activities and attractions.
The Conondale Range Great Walk is a 56 km multi-day trek featuring diverse landscapes, including rainforests, creeks, and spectacular lookouts. Shorter walks, such as the Booloumba Falls Walk or the Strangler Cairn Walk, are also available.
Enjoy swimming in the pristine waters of Booloumba Creek or relaxing with a picnic by the creek’s edge.
Spot a variety of native wildlife, including platypus, goannas, and numerous bird species like king parrots and lyrebirds.
The park offers several camping options at the Booloumba Creek Campgrounds: Four designated areas cater to campers, from tents to small caravans and camper trailers. Facilities vary but include toilets, picnic tables, and fire pits.
The park is accessible via Booloumba Creek Road, with 4WD recommended for some sections.
Entry is free, but camping requires a permit, which can be booked online through Queensland Parks.
