This crossing of the Strzelecki Creek is on the Merty Merty to Camerons Corner Road. For a decade or longer the riverbed is a series of dried up waterholes. Then a big flood will come and wash out the embankment which forms the track across the creek. After the 2010 floods SA roads did not replace the pipes so now the crossing will act like a dam. 2025 floods will test this hypothesis by mid April.
