Information
Camp site is located in Crowdy Bay National Park.
This is a large, grassed campground set behind sand dunes with no marked sites, dotted with trees so you can choose shade or sun, suitable for tents, camper trailers, small caravans and car-based camping. There is pedestrian and vehicle access to the adjacent beach.
The only facilities are National Park toilets, so BYO everything including water. Ground fires are no longer permitted. NPWS required the used of off-the-ground fire buckets and has them for hire from the Diamond Head park office. BYO firewood or purchase a bag at the Diamond Head site office.
Walk-in camping is available at Kylies Hut, once a writers retreat, a short walk away on Metcalfe's walking track.
Bookings are required. Fees are payable at the nearby Diamond Head Campground site office and on line
