Information
Native Dog campground, just off Guyra Road, has plenty of open grassland for picnicking, camping in tents or setting up a camper trailer or parking up the caravan. Book sites online.
Campsite area offers lovely sites, mostly large, grassy areas in the open or some smaller more shaded areas. Some are suitable for drive through. Check individual site details when booking.
New/clean, large and airy long drop toilets, firewood supplied by rangers, and steel firepits for each campsite.
Whilst this campground may appear to look close to the Guyra Road, the entrance winds through a large stand of dense trees that block all road noise. It's a top quality campsite!
Native Dog creek is a short walk away but longer walks are also popular. The main walk is to Woolpack Rocks - a 3 hours, 8km return grade 4 hike. If you can arrange a pick up, you can even walk all the way (9km one way) through to Barokee Campground at Cathedral Rocks. The Cathedral Rocks summit walk is the main drawcard and is more easily accessible from Barokee campground.
