In drier areas swathes of Mulla Mullas can make a wonderful springtime display after autumn rain. Upright plant to 75cm. Leaves broad and smooth. Conical flower heads held above foliage.
Erect or ascending annual or perennial, herb, 0.15-1.5 m high. Fl. green-white-yellow-brown, Apr to Nov or Jan. Red soils, sand, sandstone. Stony hills, plateaus.

Prostrate creeper. Leaves oval to lance shaped. Flower heads made of many small flowers. The heads have a fluffy appearance due to feathery bracts surrounding the small flowers.
