Ground orchid with a single small leaf. Flowers about 4cm across.
Very common and widespread in WA from Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay Stems carry multiple flowers. Large brilliant blue to flowers about 3cm across. Prominent central column.
Striking and unusual flower colour on this much sought after orchid. Very attractive with a distinctive spiral leaf.Found near Albany on the WA south coast and as far north as Wongan Hills and east

A yellow sun orchid
Terrestrial herb. Leaf linear to lanceolate, 10–30 cm long, 6–20 mm wide, ribbed, erect to lax, dark green to glaucous. Inflorescence to 60 cm high, 2–20-flowered. Flowers sweetly fragrant.
Herbaceous perennial growing to about 20cm high. Distinctive yellow flowers, buds are pink.
One of our lovely sun orchids that flowers early in the year.
A sun orchid hybrid that was found south of Mullewa amongst some granite pockets. It is a cross between the T antennifera and T petrophila .
