Information

The Diamantina River is constrained by outcrops of the Goyder and Hamilton Ranges and flows through a gap about 1 km wide. This is known as Hunters Gorge containing the Mundawarra waterhole. Good views of the river upstream of the Gates from the lookout at Janets Leap.
