Information

The Hattah Lakes system has been severely degraded due to regulation of the Murray River, drought and water extraction for agriculture, industry and urban use. There is no longer a link between the site and the river. The Living Murray TLM) initiative is a river restoration program designed to improve the health of Murray River ecosystems through targeted environmental watering events. Th.is program will reduce access into 2018. See comments on Lake Hattah
