Information

Free camping is available at the Upper Terrace Campground, a short distance from the day-visitor area which is provided by the Castlemaine Diggings National Heritage Park. The camping area is small and rather cramped with only half the sites shaded. There’s only space for a few caravans and a half-dozen tents, so get there early if you want to stay during holiday periods. Tight turning room if already occupied.No fires or dogs permitted. The turn-off to the campground is on Vaughan Springs Rd.
