These scones are good cooked in a camp oven. But any oven will do.
Bread made with yeast keeps considerably fresher and doesn't take on the rock solid texture of damper when eaten the next day for sandwiches.
Dont let the name put you off, it is really delicious

Growing up in the 70's and 80's I was inspired by a pair of 'modern day' adventurers known as "The Leyland Brothers" or "Mike and Mal" for short.

Here is a version of the Cornish Pasty a lot of people might not have seen. The miners started eating at the meat and veg. end and finished at the sweet end. Can be eaten hot or cold.
